OH SNAP!

Pole Position

When I initially saw this video I was thinking that the bride was just pissed. I was thinking that certain people were appalled and would want to escort that chick out of the tent. But to my wonderful surprise, it wasn’t that at all. It was 100 times better.

That tent was cheaper than the band.

That being said, I bet the band fucked that drunk chick stupid later on.

Yeah, that was suspiciously well-shot in regards to all the zooming and catching of reactions.

It's from an ad by Heineken for their global responsible drinking campaign "Know The Signs".

It's trying to get people to drink less - apparently, specifically, girls with a tendency to "go wild".

SO IT'S NOT FUNNY AT ALL.

If you want to "create a viral video", don't hire a professional camera man... get twenty people to shoot in on cell phones and pick the best version. This reeked of fakery from the start.

Yea I agree, that was totally fake. Everything was filmed WAY too well, and whenever he pointed the camera around it always happened to be right as a new reaction was coming.

If they've seen it, you'll get a knowing grin - or if you're lucky, someone will call you a well-dressed fucking man. And if they haven't seen it, you don't want to have anything to do with them anyway.

The biggest tipoff that it's fake: try to put yourself in the shoes of the guy with the video camera and imagine yourself making every motion he does. You would be constantly zooming in and out as rapidly as possible and violently swinging and shaking the camera. That could make sense if it was filmed by a hyperactive 3 yr old, but otherwise it can only be someone deliberately trying to make the worst video ever.

Real amateurs forget that the camera even has a zoom or zoom once every 2 minutes. They also tend to either to stationary boring shots or painful constant slow pans of the room.

I use that line every time the opportunity arises, which is often. Fortunately, my friends have all seen the movie and find that scene particularly hilarious, so its repeating is not wasted on them.
