I wonder if this was also inspired by the Flight of the Conchords episode where Brett gets a job holding a sign and falls in love with a female sign hloder.
This just goes to show that even the dumbest, most pointless short film, about a loser, can be spun into a heartfelt, elegant love story with a British accent and indie music.
I wish I was a sign holder.

In the main shopping street of my city we have a guy (or a gal, who knows) in a frog costume holding a sign for a whatever-sale down the alley. I alway pitied him (her) for the worst job. But that movie almost made me want to become a sign-holder. Sweet.

this vid made feel all human, a complete change from my usual cynical asshole self.
lasted about 15 seconds, until I remembered that people who actually do jobs like that are shat on and looked down upon and typically hate the work. They certainly dont get promoted to skywriting, or pick up cute chicks on the job.
