The Power Loader "dual-arm power amplification robot" uses 18 electromagnetic motors that let the wearer lift 220 pounds without blinking. It gets its name from the exoskeleton from "Aliens", and even has force-feedback.

^ From the videos on his site, that can be about 11 inches. Assuming you're black and bring your own leather.

I can lift more than that with a forklift. The forklift is also more mobile.
"Bring me that 220LB weight so I can lift it with these claws"
Good luck to Newt if Ripley was using that piece of shit.
Dual-arm power amplification Slowbot.
He's not bullet proof either. I'll take Officer Alex Murphy any day of the week.

You need a forklift to lift 220lbs? Do we allow 12 year old girls on this site?
Most irritating music in the video. Also, they are trying way to hard to be an anime.

Okay, fine, this is the most fantastic piece of machinery I've ever seen! Look how that claw rotates! Keep looking! Look some more, almost done!

OK tough guy, when is the last time you lifted 220lbs of dead weight? And not just got it an inch off the ground, but moved it around with any amount of practicality?

Uh... yeah. I'm guessing you have no concept of weight. Or are you simply some hung-ho hillbilly that thinks they could roundhouse the head off a terrorist, given the chance?

i hate it when you'll all with a ho and her skirt comes up and she's hung and you're like, dude!
Considering it is a prototype I'm semi impressed. in 4-5 years, when it evolves into a practical machine. Then I will be fully impressed
This is stupid. i once saw a robot get blasted by a shotgun multiple times. Then frozen with liquid nitrogen, get smashed to a million pieces, melt, reassemble, and then continue chasing john Conner. Get it together Japan. Cyberdine was doing better than this in the eighty's........... wait what?

Hell Yeah. Now somebody get to work on a PPC and we're talking.
Cameron better get a piece of that. He's going to need it when his jungle-space-cats movie tanks.

I've carried about 200 pounds of cable at a time, including climbing onto the back bumper of my truck with it.

Needs more points of articulation. He couldn't even bend over and pick up the weight off the ground without that long handle. The controls are of weakling design as well. Slip your arms into some sleeves with multiple force feedback inputs. Also, use the new green laser.
I can move 220 lbs with an $80 steel and aluminum two wheeler, that only has two moving parts. But it DOESN'T fight Xenomorphs, so...
