I like Seinfeld, but I can't stand Curb Your Enthusiasm. That show is absolutely dreadful.
Larry David is obviously not what made Seinfeld funny.

I watched this with my family constantly when I was young. Then when I moved out and only had basic cable, I watched all the reruns, and got more of the jokes.
Personally I'd rather see a clip video of Elaine pushing people and saying "GET OUT".

Curb Your Enthusiasm > Seinfeld.

Not until now.
I prefer shows that are actually funny like How I Met Your Mother and It's Always Sunny.

This.
You can't hold Seinfeld to the same standard of funny as How I Met Your Mother and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
Seinfeld ran '89 - '98 when it was new. It did a lot fresh and edgy stuff, that's hard to recognize against today's sitcom backdrop. Namely, Seinfeld took sitcoms away from the lesson/thematic based family unit, and introduced something new. "A show about nothing." None of the characters are related or work together, and the episodes are meaningless, yet compelling in their copious deconstruction of most minute and unimportant social injustices and observations.
Seinfeld doesn't ask you to care about the characters, or try to teach you a lesson, which many sitcoms still do today. The characters hardly care about each other, and the show only asks you to laugh. These aren't real people. Laugh for 30 minutes, and forget about them. Get on with your life.
Modern sitcoms like Mother and Philly, utilize the spirit Seinfeld pioneered.
That said, all three of these shows are funny. And I'm disappointed this montage didn't end with the time the door was locked you just hear a bang and see the door rattle.
