This video was created by Mike Jittlove, a great (but not very well-known) pioneer in the field of visual effects.

I can't see why the ladies loved him, he'd be in and out in less than a second. :)
He's fueled by the power of Awesome!
I want my 5 minutes and 25 seconds back... So I can watch it again. That was awesome to the extreme
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?
PSH. Not as cool as my dad.
I actually remember watching that movie as a kid. We rented it on Beta and watched it late at night before playing Nintendo (Bump 'N Jump) until morning. ;) Good times.
Its 'Jittlov' (no 'e')

concidering how old that is and that most of those effects would have been done with very outdated tech, that was pretty damn good. The cheesey music and hairdos made me scream a few times, but thats normal for anything from the 70s - 80s
Bash that 9.7'er.
10/10.
10/10.

Glow in the dark condom?
Wholly ood!
That 9.7 guy was Mike Jittlov himself. Heh.
I thought this was totally lame until I realized (due to the car styles) that this was made in the late 70s/early 80s. It's still not that great for that timeframe. Always great to see stop-motion animation, though.
The music was horrible, especially the first part.

anyone hosting a version of this in high res?
Man, I hate that.
Great. That's all.
that was the shit.

fuck me. url is so far away form quote too? how the hell did that happen.
Well, it shows the space shuttle in orbit, so it's more than likely after 81.
Amazing all the production work put into this.

That was kind of neat. Better effects than those in the Superman movies.
a cue card giving a very fast beej to a light stand or whatever the hell that was... eh i dont think im gonna finish this... nope definitely not...
I highly recommend watching the entire movie. While the best you can do to buy it is get a used VHS/Beta/Laserdisc copy, there are *ahem* "other" copies available (By the implied permission from Jitlov) available.
Jitlov was the last, and possibly best, of the "analog" film editing art. All of the effects from his movies were done completely by hand, by him, using fancy stop-motion and other means. Seriously, it may kind of be a "family-friendly" type of movie, but it's worth it.

I like when he straightens the Leaning Tower of Pisa

I was waiting for Peter Gabriel to start singing "Sledge Hammer"...

Although the F-14 is nearing retirement, the F-18 is in line to take its place. The F-18 is so great, even its dummy bombs are capable of causing mass destruction.

In spite of the terrible choice of music, this freestyle R/C airplane performance is stunning. I'm always impressed with how elegantly they can move, in spite of originally being designed to basically fly in a straight line.

If you're going to pull the pin from a grenade with your teeth, be sure to, you know, throw the damn thing before it has a chance to blow up in your hand.

I have a feeling we might hear more about this kid when he gets a little bit older. He looks to be about two, and already he's showing some great skills on the drums.

This time-lapse footage was shot at the 2006 Balloon Race in Reno, Nevada. It shows 106 balloons being inflated, rising into the sky, and then racing around for a while.

The worst part about passing out is when the dog totally makes out with you in your sleep.
