45,000 Bottle Rockets

Everybody liked the other firecracker video so much, so here's another one. It's a little more scary when they have a decent chance of hitting you if one gets away.

No comments have been made yet, thus this is an invitation to say something stupid.

KICKASS! but i guess the odds of one hitting someone is quite large if theres that many.

A tripod would've made that video 45,000 x better.
Spend all that money of fireworks and then record it with your cam-phone? o_0

I was wondering how many of them hit eachother... you would think with that many going off they would be hitting eachother. The ending was sweet except for the freaking dopey guy laughing...

ugh.... have these people ever heard of a camera tripod? Or even just a block or table to set the camera on?

If you're going to film something cool, do it right.

Seriously. I mean, if you're going to that sort of trouble and expense, get a decent camera (or several), put it on a tripod, and don't have the guy running the camera also be the guy setting it off. :P

Still pretty impressive. I wonder how long it took the fire dept. to get there?

has anyone else tried a sparkler bomb? i.e. lighting thousands of sparklers off at one time? my brother&friends did it and suposedly it was a huge torch shooting about 30 feet up into the air.

There are plenty of YouTube sparkler bomb videos. All I have to say is don't ever light a big one under a tree, no matter how high the branches are. They will still catch on fire.

i remember those rockets from when i went to america. you could get 144 of the fuckers for $2.50. the best thing to do is get a handful and snap the sticks off, light them and just throw them. they go everywhere - and are aptly named nigger chasers. i even smuggled some on the plane home! ah, the joys of being 16, pre-9/11

These seem to be done by a few friends, just for the hell of it. But, has anyone else sat down and figured how much 45,000 bottle rockets would of freaking cost?? Cheapest I've found was about $37.50 per 25gross (3600rockets). That'd be $468.75 gone in a couple minutes.

Wish I made enough to watch $500 blow up in front of me, and laugh about it. LOL

If a bunch of people chipped in it wouldn't be so bad. I say break the record and go for 100,000. Anyone?

shop around some indian reservations, they dont need permits, and alot of people have what looks like a garage sale, but instead its all fireworks.

wait until a day or two after the fourth, and offer to buy up most of their remaining stock, i once got a big box of the 3/4 inch colored exploding rockets for roughly 8 per dollar

You see, to me the problem lies in organising the ignition system - it boils down to timing - I mean i could sit there myself and light 100,000 rockets one after the other -

I guess the closer they all are to going off together = the cooler.
