KNW also gives excellent gifts.
When you're doing your fair and random drawings you should auction KNW out to a pretty high briber.

One of the first things I saw upon getting to your place - I'd forgotten you'd got Bearclaw the other year, it looked fantastic!
Catina is amazing, and she still randomly sends me gifts :)
Ooooo have the special german cookies come out yet?
The off brands have, but it is not yet time for the blue package Spekulatus. Soon, though. I'm also debating the sending of Kinder Eggs. Technically, they're illegal to ship to the US. But what are the odds that I would get caught if they were in with a bunch of other stuff? And what kind of punishment am I looking at if I do get caught? I'm just not sure.
I (hypothetically speaking)mail beer out of state from Utah and that's illegal as hell.

REALLY?! BAHAHAHA thats the stupidest law in this whole country!
And it's shared in 19 other states!
no alcohol across the borders, in or out.

no, the kinder egg one
Kinder Eggs are sold all over the world excluding the United States, where the 1938 Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act prohibits embedding "non-nutritive items" in confections.
mmmmm nutritive items...

I wasn't sure what kinder eggs were...catina explained.
You can get the kinder chocolate, little ones and the big Reigal's or however it's spelled, in my local grocery store now. Which is AWESOME.
Kinder has like, a bajillion different chocolates. My favourite is the Kinder Country - it has puffed wheat in it :D
Wow - I did not know that Kinder Eggs were banned in the US. I love Kinder Eggs :)
If you send it from the US to the US, is it still illegal?
I think you just can't sell them here. Almost certainly fine to ship to the U.S.
There's a big sign in my post office that 'reminds' you not to ship them :(
There's no such nonsense over here so whoever I get will have some included in teh package :)
Any Kinder Eggs I happen to send shall have an attached note saying "DO NOT EAT THIS CHOCOLATE. THIS CHOCOLATE IS PART OF THE TOY".
Actually, I wonder if I can send some Irn Bru over...

You can send whatever you want as long as if they ask you if you have foods or drinks you declare it. I have yet to be asked and I have receieved all kindsa foods and beverages from over there.
I sent someone some Faygo once (Detroit local soda company). When I declared the liquid you'd think I just said "bomb" on an airplane.
It was fine, just had to answer lots of questions.

Scottish soft drink. We call all our soft drinks "ginger" over here, however this one happens to be ginger in colour too! Think sweet fruit and something special.
The Bru!
Scotland is one of the few countries where a local drink (Irn Bru) outsells the giants of Coca Cola and Pepsi.
They are also well known for their adverts, which at times prompt complaints but are usually pretty good!

Looks and sounds interesting. Would like to get my hands on some.
Oh my gosh I miss Irn Bru. The first time I had it was at Christmas time when my family stayed in Scotland in an old castle, and we walked down to a pub and I had cockaleekie and irn bru :D One of my favourite holidays ever...
isn't irn bru kinda cream-soda-y?
Irn Bru is fruity. Cream soda is more vanilla. Barrs (who make Irn Bru) do a fantastic cream soda.
Irn Bru similar to Jones Soda?
thats like asking if milk is similar to Cadbury's
So one is a nutritional drink and the other is a chocolate candy
