The last I heard, he'd dumped at 230km/h and knocked himself unconscious for a few minutes during a test.

Well, you can't deny it, the US F1 team have got some good names and some good grounding working for them. Peter Windsor is going to be sporting director, and he's a Brit!

I look forward to what it's going to bring, could be really interesting! 

Yeah, Pete windsor is a legend, and if USF1 can get some good engines and drivers it sounds like they've got a good formula, (pardon the expression)

I'm so excited still. 

Plus if they can generate more interest in the US towards F1 by the generation of this team then they are sitting on a potential goldmine, recession or no recession.

I know of a nice little fantasy F1 game that I've been playing for a few years. All free and you can upgrade stuff throughout the year depending on how well you're doing. Plus you can have more than one team so you're not stuck with a real dog of a team if you've fucked up to begin with. You can have leagues as well for a bit of added competition. If anyone's interested I'll set up a league next week?

At the time of Honda's withdrawal, Brawn expressed his belief that the car could run in the top three in 2009, despite the team's poor form in the last two years.

...if he's gonna keep leading that team, Brawn should lay off the drugs. Or take more.

Speaking of, I noticed that Ron Dennis is stepping down as McLaren team principal as well.

A little later than I anticipated but I've set up a Fazed Fantasy F1 league at this place..

It's free to play and you have to register but I've been playing on the site for a few years and have had no problems at all. You can create up to 10 teams ( although you can only have 3 in the league) and it's the normal: choose drivers, test drivers, chassis and engine for £55 milllion. After each race you can make (I think) up to 3 changes and you get extra cash for performance so you can upgrade.

The league is called Fazed F1
The password is pihb
You can only enter 3 teams in the league and once a team is entered in the league it cannot leave. So if you enter 3 crap teams then tough!!
It's all mostly self explanatory seeing as most people here are pretty 'net-savvy and the help guides are quite good. You can set a team up reasonably quickly or you can take as long as you want and if you have any extra queries, just ask.
