i woke up this morning and had the song "We Belong" by Pat Benatar stuck in my head (a song from 1984)
now i didnt know the name of the song and who it was by, but figured out who it was through the glorious internet. i have never actively listened to pat benatar and havent heard the song in years
how in gods name did i get it stuck in my head?
anyone ever have a similar experience?

ugh. on tuesday night before i went to sleep i heard 'gloria' by laura branigan. since i work in a noisy plant and we wear earplugs, there isn't an opportunity to hear anything to get that damn dreaded stuck-in-your-head song outta there.
i hummed gloria for two solid days.

If it weren't for songs stuck in my head, I would die at work. I have the most boring job on the planet, and the only way I can stay sane is to have a song stuck in my head. I usually have two or three on reserve just in case I lose the first.
"Undercover angel, midnight fantasy..."
You, my friend, have an ear worm.
Tall and tan and young and lovely...
Enjoy it.

The best way to get a song out of your head. Pick a more annoying song, preferably by the Venga Boys.

Ha....my dad went to Disney World and got stuck on the 'Small World' ride. They didn't
turn off the music while fixing whatever was wrong. All you have to do is walk by him
humming or singing, 'it's a small world after all, it's a small, small word' and within 5
minutes it's locked into his head for hours.

I watched the original Willie Wonka movie this morning.
And that terrible song, "Candy Man" by Sammy Davis Jr. has been bouncing around in my cranial tubes and it's starting to piss me off.
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
The Candy Man, the Candy Man can
The Candy Man can 'cause he mixes it with love
and makes the world taste good
/pukes

Terrible song? I love that song.
I had Twisted Nerve (that whistleing tune) from kill bill stuck in my head for weeks after the movie came out and everyone had it as their ringtone.
It nearly drove me mad. Not in a joking sense either, it was seriously affecting my life, I was constantly annoyed and angry, I couldn't sleep and I threw my friends cell phone out of the car window on my way back from jersey because it was his ringtone.
I fucking hate that song.

I don't mind the cheezy music, but damn, those lyrics are way sugary-sweet.
