That's a good enought reason to buy one, right?
I don't know why I alway make that damn typo. I have some kind of disorder where I always put a "t" after enough. I do it subconciously...
it's ok mr green
I have a problem with writing with the as "with e" because I just wrote a t and a h.

I'm going to get a harley when I come back to the states.

Spaz, I think that bike is a little small for your frame. IMVHO, I'd go for more c.c....

The V Star looks nice,
but I'd go for more fairing if you're going far.

y hallo thar!
I'm saving up for a Suzuki SV650S, which I plan to get next spring. I was hoping to get a bike this year, but it just doesn't look like that's going to happen. Originally I'd been looking at older Nighthawks, but I like the styling of the SV a lot better.
my grey market rocket...
selling it was either the smartest or stupidest thing i've ever done.

Thanks man, the downside is it's been raining for the last couple of days up here. I've had to whisper reassurances to it each night in the garage...
Hopefully we might get some sun today

When Good Bikes Go Bad
I swear, this bike has tried to Punish me several times already. Next paintjob is gonna be a dominatrix theme.
I recently moved into a new place (yes this short story is going to relate). I have an older car and am generally ok with parking it outside. However I realised that there was a garage so I wanted to possibly get a space in it just to save myself the hassle of scraping my car in these MN winters. So I go down there with teh lease lady and am chatting with her. Turns out there are spaces with some parking spots for a motorcycle. And they happaned to have one open. And its no extra charge.
$35 a month and I can park a bike and a car down there.

Damn! I hope that happened over the winter and not while riding....
When Good Bikes Go Bad
Did you ever get that fixed?

More than worth it!
Yeah. I was vaguely considering it until I heard the price and found out I could park a bike down there. I was all "SOLD BITCH! There are gonna be snakes on a motherfucking plane down here!" at that point.
Damn! I hope that happened over the winter and not while riding....
HAH no, I was doin 80 in the fast lane during rush hour when that bitch broke. Yeah. Fun stuff.
Did you ever get that fixed?
Yup, had an experienced Journeyman to come to the house and tack it back up. As a bonus, he reinforced the left side to prevent any copycat action.

Dude, it's a British bike, it was MADE for rainy shitty weather! :)
That's a nice looking bike. Have you seen Triumph's new modern classics line? They're beautiful, but pricey, from what I understand.

I honestly had you pegged as a Harley man.
Yeah I was perusing their site yesterday. Nice to see some of those old lines come back into modern cruisers. Beauty!
You're right though the bike is made for the exact kind of weather we're having right now....I trust the bike, but not the dipshits on the road next to me...

Hey Tom, I see custom chrome foot pegs for your lady, but no seat.
What gives?

Thanks, the problem is I had to dump my girlfriend to get the thing. I think it was a good trade off.
Lower maintenance and it rides just as well.

Doesn't get pissed off if you admire another one!

classic motorcycle > girlfriend each and every time.
I honestly had you pegged as a Harley man.
I like cruisers, but I think that for right now I'd like something sportier- while I'm still young enough to not mind the more aggressive riding position. One of the reasons I like the SV is that it's a sport bike, but it's laid out with a lower seat and higher handlebars, for a more upright ride. Add a gel seat and you can ride one for hours at a stretch.
When I do go for a cruiser, I don't think I'll go with a Harley, though, for a couple of reasons. For one thing, around here EVERYONE has one, each one with louder pipes than the one before, and all the riders wear the same swag, dealership t-shirts with leather jackets ("wannabe colors"). Since the Boomers in the suburbs discovered them, the prices have gotten stupid, and now it's hard to find a decent one for anywhere close to what it's actually worth.

I'm a 'boomer, and I agree with you. I absolutely detest the 'Rolex' riders. I could crush them. I've been ridin' Harleys for....32 years?
Yuppies on Hogs, now this pisses me off...

Found my baby here for $5,000 cash, legally. worth at least $10k with all the modifications.
^ That's how I found mine too...lot's of good stuff on there
