If you decide you're going to put your foot up someone's ass at any point, I hope it's not mine.
I kick footballs, not buttholes.
I punch buttholes, though.

your right, you wouldn't have gotten much playing time if you could've outkicked the other kicker. good thing you didn't do it.
Super Bowl in 2003. But Al Davis f*cked it up as always.
Nah the bucs were due one at some point

But I'm saying I COULDN'T have outkicked him. He was one of the best college kickers during his time at OU. He was a finalist for the Lou Groza. Therefore, I didn't bother trying.
I heard Lou Groza once kicked a cinder block over the Mississippi river.
It's looking like a Saint/Steelers Super Bowl.
we're still in that time of the year where it's not totally decided who is for real, and who isn't.
i think by week 10 it's a little clearer.

True. Bengals are 5-2. 'Nuff said.
I was thinking that the Saints look like a really good bet to get there. They have so many weapons, and their defense should be healed back up by then.
Their schedule's not that rough the rest of the way either.
Carolina
@St. Louis
@Tampa
New England
@Washington
@Atlanta
Dallas
Tampa
@Carolina
3 real opponents in there. Even if they lose all three and somehow lose a game to Carolina, they end up 12-4.

Somehow?
Go away.
Go away.
Still with the fucking Panthers support? Ugh.
The Saints will lose 2 games; vs. New England and @ Atlanta.
It's odd to you that a fan of a team might be partial to them?
Go away.
Go away.
There's a difference between being partial and being a moron.
thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one thinking these things
he's also a shitty receiver
Miles Austin is really the number 1 receiver. I guess they don't want to admit they over paid and traded to many picks for their supposed number 1. When it is actually a free agent.
kind of a bozo move to say the new guy is getting all the good passes.
He's actually getting open and catching them, that's the difference.
Well Roy thinks Romo should throw to the covered Roy, so that he can drop it!
The way the offense is designed, Roy Williams is still the number 1 receiver. It's not about pride or numbers. It's just the way that they designate positions. More plays are going to be designed to go to Williams at first pass, but if Romo reads coverage at the line of scrimmage to be shifted toward Williams, he can shift t he play or he can just check down after the snap.
If that's really true, they're idiots. Probably just Jerry Jones's ego requiring them to get his prized possession some targets.
No, it's just the way it works. When you learn the offense, you learn it from your position. Usually with a 1 and 2 receiver, one is on the strong side (with the tight end) and the other is on the weak. One is usually on the line of scrimmage and the other is off. The way the plays are called, they know the blocking and routes from their position. To switch isn't as easy as it might sound. Granted, if you're paid gabilllions of dollars to do it, you should be able to figure it out, but modern offensive schemes are more complicated than they used to be.
And.. what they're doing now is working just fine, so it's probably best not to fuck with it. Let the opponents keep doubling Roy Williams and letting Austin run free.

that's one expensive decoy
Tell it to Buffalo.

You're a little a head of the rest of us. Lucky you! I'd like it to be gametime.
I'd hope he doesn't play, better to be safe than sorry. What I don't get with his case of sickle cell and the issue he had here last time in high altitude is there are plenty of people with that disease here. Rod Smith had it, one of my best friends does. I'd say it has to do more with the "undisclosed medical condition" more so than sickle cell. Even then what's that condition and I'm sure there are others in Colorado or high altitude states with it and are just fine. Such an odd medical case/issue for him. Luckily it wasn't worse for him.

yeah. I don't know where the "tonight" thing came from.
damn, for a minute there, i thought thursday night football was starting again.
Had me all excited too.

It helped that Gruden had the Raider playbook from the previous year, too.
No shit!
There was an interview with one of the Buc's cb's, he said the day before the superbowl Gruden ran the starting D half speed against a dummy offense with himself at QB, and the next day in the game the Raiders O did exactly what Gruden has demonstrated
This guy in the interview was still amazed

Al Davis never should have let him go.... But its Al Davis the most hated owner in Football (since Georgia Frontiere died)
awesome
He's an example of poor management killing a team's chances. It happens in every sport and every size market.

He's also the most senile, stupid and stubborn owner. He's killing his team, it's all on him and he doesn't realize it. As soon as he dies, gives up the reigns or get committed the Raiders will get infinitely better. Then Daniel Snyder will take over where Davis left off.
