Every year the experts and pundits pick the Colts to make the Super Bowl. It won't happen as long as they have to play the Patriots in the playoffs. The last two years, you could barely find a sportswriter who would pick the Pats over the Colts when they met in the playoffs. "Nobody can stop this offense." Wrong. The Patriots (with the help of Manning choking) can.

Me too.

Can Eli be that far behind? I think not. Any supposed "superstar" wannabe who says he will not play for the team that will draft him is an asshole from the start.

Fuckin crybaby....oooh, daddy, I don't wanna play for the chargers....

FUCK YOU.

I think I end up hating any QB who threatens to compete with Joe Montana in terms of overall greatness. In my biased 49er-fan opinion, Montana is the best ever. That's why I hate Elway, Marino, Favre, Aikman and Manning. People have talked about these guys as if they are better than (or even just as good as) Montana. There is no way (obviously with Aikman and Manning it's a no-brainer). Montana knew how to win much, much better than any of these other bitches. Favre is possibly the closest, but he is now so inconsistent that he seems to help his team lose (with 4 INT games) more often than he helps them win. There are other reasons I hate Favre and Aikman - namely, they competed against the Niners in the 90s. I think the biggest thing that makes me hate Peyton is that everyone fucking loves him and talks about how great he is, but he hasn't shown that he can win when it matters.

Tom Brady is the closest to Montana these days. Sure, he benefits from a great system and an excellent coach, but so did Joe. Brady has the same instinct for winning.

Ok. but can't win the big game. gets killed by the pats....

He is a good quarter back, I give him that. but any pro player drafted by a team should not have the right to whine and cry about not wanting to play for the team that drafted them.

STFU and play the goddamn sport.

Teddy Bruschi?
Oh, right.

Teddy has been a driving force for the Pats, no doubt, and there will be a void there. However, this is the team that had MOST of it's starters missing and still won more games than anyone thought they would, even a lot of the fans.

Bill is a master of building a team, and making sure people can fill more than just one spot to cover the holes where they may appear. And Tom, heck he is an excellent reader. Oh, and when it comes to clutch plays under pressure, he is almost always flawless. (That right there is the difference between Brady and Manning)

I would love to see them do it again. They may have a rough pre-season, but I'm thinking that after the first game of the season, the players will have it down, and if Teddy is there in training camp or around to offer advice, it will be heard.

I am seriously excited about teh Cowboys this year. From a defensive standpoint, definitely. Offensive? Well the Running back (Julius Jones) shared my namesake, so I'm rooting for him to kick some ass.

Ah to be a cowboys fan.. in DC nonetheless. I'm swear I'm going to get out the Dallas for some games there. :)

Yeah, and their running back showed a lot of potential last year. They could be scary good on offense if Harrington can finally pull his head out of his ass. I predict Garcia will be starting QB by week 3.

how bout them dolphins? no QB, a rookie RB and a pothead backup who's only playing for himself(teh money$$$$$$). 3 good receivers but nobody to throw to them

we got rid of the wrong CB (surtain), have no reliable DT's (bowens retired, chester coming off knee surgery, zgonina? puhlease), and our offensive line absolutely blows. gus frerotte wont need to headbutt any walls to get a concussion playing behind this line.

but we got zach thomas and jason taylor! so suck it jets!!!!
