No one has ever done anything like this and no one will. It is stupid.

Astronauts as far back as the Apollo missions describe the philosophical impact that seeing the Earth from outside has had on them. Truly, literally, awe inspiring.

Lots of "trick shot" videos out there. Haven't seen one like this.
Cool video of the moon rising in real time over Wellington, New Zealand.
For thousands of years, sailors have told stories of giant squids. In myth and cinema, the kraken was the most terrible of sea monsters. Now, it's been captured — on a soon-to-be-seen video.

The Golden Gate Bridge has always been famous. It was the world’s longest suspension bridge when it was completed in 1937. Since then, it has become an iconic landmark of San Francisco and, tragically, one of the most popular places in the world to commit suicide. Few know this better than Kevin Briggs, a sergeant with the California Highway Patrol who has talked hundreds of people out of jumping.
Ever wanted an Indiana Jones action figure still in the custom-made package? But once you get him, how about (the annoying) Willie Smith from Temple of Doom? How about Blades from Dawn of the Dead? This guy makes and sells custom figs and accessories that would make great additions to any movie room wall or just great toys!

This video shows the soldiers of 2/1 RNZIR Battalion performing their Unit haka, powerfully acknowledging the lives and feats of their fallen comrades as they come onto the Unit's parade ground. It is also an emotive farewell for they will leave via the waharoa (the carved entrance way) for the very last time.
Talking about goosebumps! Wow.

Speaking of, Gotye spent a LOT of time putting together this amazing mix consisting of over 100 different versions of his (very prevalent) hit. As he said: "Reluctant as I am to add to the mountain of interpretations of Somebody That I Used To Know seemingly taking over their own area of the internet, I couldn't resist the massive remixability that such a large, varied yet connected bundle of source material offered.

On July 19, 1957, five Air Force officers and one photographer stood together on a patch of ground about 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas. They'd marked the spot "Ground Zero. Population 5" on a hand-lettered sign hammered into the soft ground right next to them.
They weren't crazy. They weren't being punished. All but one volunteered to do this (which makes it all the more astonishing).
Beauty and the Beast, skrait from the hood.
So much effort.
